A man is suing Pepsi because he said he allegedly found a mouse in a can of mountain dew he got from a vending machine at work. That is not the gross part. The worst is that pepsi is claiming that those allegations are false because: "After thirty days in the fluid, the mouse will have been transformed into a ‘jelly-like' substance." Pepsi's researcher went on to say that "within a week of a mouse being submerged in a fluid with the acidity of Mountain Dew, the mouse would have no calcium in its bones and bony structures, the abdominal structure would rupture and the cranial cavity would also likely rupture. Within thirty days, the structure of the mouse would not be recognizable.
I don't want to bag on people who drink soda, I know it's yummy and addicting. It just surprises me how terrible it truly is for you. Soda is not found in nature, obviously, and things that makeup soda are not either. For example sugar... it is rarely found in nature and we should only consume small amounts of it. Therefore, putting sugar (or basically any of the ingredients in soda) in a can, cup, jar, "44 ouncer" seems crazy. We are already not suppose to be eating large amounts of that stuff and now we are drinking/guzzling it by the litter.
